hey yall,
your probably wondering what this pic is??
well>>>
basketcase was getting sick of foam matresses, and how they get soaked, and dirty, and good quality ones cost the earth.
so he invented le solution,,,,
light weight, only costs about $50 smackaroonies, hose off if it get grotty. and very comfy.
buy one pump up air mattress, and 3 and a half bean bag refills, and put beans in mattress,
brilliant! basketcasebear, heeeyyyyeee boo boo, you have done it again!!
[ for hints on how to get beans in bag, ask.
cheers
bcb.

boat launch tommorow.

it took virtually 4 refills, and is now soo comfy!!
just thinking back on all those years spent at the drivein, on those horrible foam mattresses,, took me till my fifties to find the solution!!
highly recomended for all vans,camperers,etc,
well done basketcase!
doh!!!
cheers

it was but yesterday, i thought myself a fragment, quivering without rythum in the sphere of life.
now i know i am the sphere, and all of life quivers in rythmic fragments, within me!

hey yall.
thought i would throw somethang in to get me back up tha top of the page!!
i now have captains bucket seats in the tardis, and they are absolutely brilliant! turns the front into a lounge room.
brilliant! only cost 70$ each as well.
building a fold down bench as a pooter table and dining table, for when the chairs are captained,,
heading towards cairns after easter, cause i am a woos with the cold winters around the tweed gcast, i mean it gets down to the low 20,s here in winter, almost like antartica, i end up having to wear socks and shoes,,and and jeans, bloody freezing,
we will see what adventures befall the basketcase on this trip!
keep ya all informed,
by the by, if you are thinkin of going camping and or bush, anywhere in australia, forget it, the greenies have locked up everything, there is now no where to camp, anywhere, except caravan parks! and if you where going to do that, you may as well stay at home in comfort!! try canada, you can go camping there, and even have a camp fire.
cheers

welll..!!
tell ya, this fibreglassing has got hairs on it.
to set up for fibreglassing is so different to normal building practices, have done the underneath of the hull, needs tidying up somewhat, but it is done.
learning learning,
next week onto the superstructure, then interior,
big job.

Well shiver me timber me hearties
Have travelled back down the east coast of aus, and am now landlocked in ballina.
The basketcase mobeel has finally been given the heave,ho. And will be wrecked and given a decent burial at sea.
Actually she is still a goer, except for the electronic ignition module, and or the electronic sender in the dizzy. She kept burning out coils, and along with cracked screen, new brake discs, new tyres etc etc etc, it is not worth the funds to keep her on ze road.
So will be selling good , 308t400,-and au1tun3.35diff, with 15inch 225x175x15wheels and impco gas system, with in date tank. The converter is cactus though.
Let me know if anyone wants all this. Will put it on gumtree. See what happens.
Apart from that the yaught is very comfy, for the average daily bear, and attracts french backpackers like honey to a bee.
Amazing!
Cheers

Nah register a trailer there as they are about $2 per year or something equally ridiculous hence why a lot of semis have or used to have SA registered trailers.

I once spoke to a Mr Plod who was a bit vexed by me towing an SA registered (hire) trailer with a QLD registerd car on an ACT licence & we wre picking up an abandoned car for a mate of mine off the side of the road.

Back then you could pay the ACT motor registry $5 and find out who owned any car so he rang the registered owner of the car asking about it but got "no speaka da English" as soon as he mentioned the abandoned Valiant LOL he was trying to offer them money for it.
