Hi Guys, I have just bought an '04 model 4x4 Rodeo (3.5l V6, 5 speed with 80k). The problem is, it will not engage low 4 via the transfer case buttons on the dash. It will go from H2 to H4 and back with no problem, but will not select low 4. The indicator light on the dash flashes as per the owner's manual, I have tried rocking it back and forth also as per the owner's manual with no luck. Has anybody else experienced this problem? and if so what is the fix?

I have an 03 RA and it can be a real pain to get L4 anything up to 10mins of pushing buttons and rocking etc. Many others have had similar problems, if you search on some 4wd forums you will find other peoples experiences. I did find when i changed the fl
