For HK (change a bit for HT):

F60=Heavy Duty front springs
GN2=Rear axle radius rods
G50=Heavy Duty rear springs
PX4+P26=5xD70 (Hi-Perf H) Whitewall tubeless tyres (includes Rally rims).
TP1=Heavy Duty Battery
UC2=Special instrument cluster

Thanks for the reply HK
N66 was listed on the broadcast sheet so what did
the PX4 and P26 individual codes stand for.
l gather when M21 was optioned the floor console was part of it
and UC2 was the 120 mph sports dash.
This would have been one expensive 307 Kingswood

N66 is Rally rims. But PX4+P26 (as it appears on the pricing lists) is as I said, and it comes with N66. On HK PX4+N84 is the same thing but with Redwalls. PX4 is the D70 tyre, P26 is the Whitewall.

Yes, M11 console shift was mandatory with M20 or M21 on a sedan. N66 is Rally rims.

Yes, UC2 would be the 120mph sports dash. Automatically changed to 140mph in GTS.

Pricing:

HK Kingswood sedan: $1689.10 ex sales tax (30/7/68). Sales tax was 25% but it is not applied directly on top, it was on the wholesale price of $1517.05, then the GMH sales margin and dealer margins were higher on retail sales. So I can't tell you exactly what it was retail.

PTC4 (Belmont, Kingswood and Monaro V8 manual with M11 and G88 (3.36 Sals) or G89 (3.55 Sals) or G94 (3.08 Sals)): $585 retail (22/7/68).

F60: $1.50 retail (30/7/68).

GN2: $40 retail (30/7/68).

G50: $3.00 retail (30/7/68).

PX4+P26: $42.40 retail (20/12/68 - not available option in July from pricing schedules. Closest was P70 & P26 - 5/7.35x14 (Premium-S) Whitewall Tubeless).

TP1: $2.00 retail (10/2/69).

UC2: $13.10 retail (10/2/69).

What would have made it a better car would have been JL2 (front discs $52 retail) and N10 (dual exhaust $60 retail).

G88
J52
L30
N66
PX4
P26
TP1
UC2
XS6
They didn't miss much except for N10.
Was TP1 standard with L30 even though
it was listed.

It is missing a couple of high cost options, namely C64 (A/C. $460), N40 (power steer $109), P51 (Michelin XAS tyres $172.85, without N66 IIRC), A31 (power windows $90) and U63 (11 transistor push button radio $97.50). But it still has the expensive imported driveline, and XS6 wasn't cheap at $80 (roughly the equivalent of paying $1500 on a $40,000 Commodore for reclining buckets!). A22 was $30, B30 was $21, JL2 was $52.

Not sure about TP1, it doesn't say that it comes with PTC1-6 (V8 powertrains).

If you don't mind me asking, how did you know the car had these options?

N91 wasn't listed, if it had them did they come as part of N66.

Broadcast sheets are often confusing. N66 means N91 mandatory, but obviously treated the same as M11. Yet they go and list N66 which is mandatory with PX4. I'm not sure if you could actually option N66 in HK. From the pricing it appears it was either standard (GTS327 and possibly GTS with V8 after the end of July '68) or came with a tyre option.

N91 was $32 on a Kingswood model if you specified it.

N66 is an option on the 6/68 HK Passenger Dealer order form.
Along with the words:
"Std. on GTS327, mandatory with D70 Type tyres. Option with Radial Tyres.
N/A Brougham."

N91 is also an option with following words:
"Std on GTS327, N/A Brougham, Mandatory with N66 wheels"

Makes you wonder what happened with 80737 cars with 5" wheels, doesn't it?

I've always wondered how they dealt with the Radial tyres. The pricing I have doesn't say explicitly that for radials on HK (P50, P51, P52, P53 and P57) that it includes N66 like it does for PX4. However pricing is different for example for P51 (Michelin 185x14 XAS). For GTS it is $144.95, for GTS327 $130.45 for Belmont/Kingswood/Monaro it is $172.85, Premier $155.85. The difference will probably over what was standard and if you wanted N66 over standard it is extra again.
